New to our YouTube channel; three videos we’ve made about Telehealth for NHS Yorkshire & the Humber.
The introduction and use of Telehealth is at the heart of the national ‘Putting People First’ initiative. Telehealth provides choice and control for individuals with a long-term condition, their carers and families. It can also provide better quality of life for people who use it and deliver efficiencies in the cost and provision of health and care services.

The short video we made for Housing 21 about palliative care has now been added to the Skills for Care website as part of their holistic working in extra care housing strategy. The video shows what Housing 21 is doing in the area of ‘End of Life Care’ within their Extra Care Housing Courts. The film also links in with key themes in the NHS ‘End of Life Care Programme’ and the project’s commitment to disseminating best practice.
The film demonstrates that people who are important and make choices in their active life are just as important and entitled to make their own choices at the end of their lives. You can see the film on the Skills for Care website at:
